ELLIS MANE

           

Ellis Mane is a singer-songwriter from Ghent (now living abroad) who began her musical journey in the attic with an indie pop project, using just an electric guitar and a loop station. She made her debut with the EP Nice To Meet You(2022), followed by her first full-length album The Earth Is Glued Together With Gold (2024), released on vinyl through the Dutch label AudioSport Records.

With her earlier singles, Ellis Mane caught the attention of several national and international music blogs and earned her place on stages such as Maanrock (2023), Popmonument (NL, 2023), and Labadoux (2024). While writing this record, Ellis’s sound evolved from a more subdued bedroom indie pop to a bolder, more expressive brand of indie rock, in the vein of artists like Courtney Barnett, Eels, and Patti Smith — not afraid to embrace a raw edge now and then.
